Rich O'Connell Biography

Richard O'Connell - I am starting my 29th year in the insurance industry and 15th year as an investment representative.  Born and raised on a farm in Pierce county, I attended the University of Wisconsin River Falls from 1964 - 1969.  I am the father of two sons and have three grandchildren.  My wife Diane and I reside in Spring Valley Wisconsin.

     I jointed The Service Agency in 1997.  In 2004 I ventured out on my own and formed Compass Financial, LLC.  "I found the need to provide employer benefit services in insurance and retirement plans.  In addition I help seniors plan for retirement which has been a significant part of my business the last few years.

     "Going forward, I believe our office will be able to assist clients with the total retirement planning picture.  The various tools we use give us the ability to help in all aspects of accumulation, distribution and estate planning for individuals and businesses in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
